Jacques MICHEL Artistic director and Chief of chorus.

 

 

After having taught musical education in school, he was devoted entirely to the development of the choir singing bound for the amateurs, since 1992.

The Franco-German Choral society of Toulouse, the Vocal ensemble Cant' Orens, the Musical Workshop of "Les Quatre Vents" of Labège, the Unit "Les Pleiades", "L'Ensemble Quint et Sens/Voix of Men" constitute his professional anchoring in the field of the choir singing. He also teaches this discipline at the council school of St Orens and animates vocal groups in two Toulouse administrations: the Hotel of Area and the CRAM.

Parallel to this activity of chief of chorus, he takes part in various permanent musical projects: artistic director of the Eurochorus Meetings, musical direction of the training course of Puycelci (Tarn), administration of the instrumental unit Musicalibra, specific collaboration with companies of theatre.

 He, moreover, initiated several creations where art choral was the keystone of a spectacle: Orphée/musical Phantasmagoria (1986), Jephte (1989), Mignonne, allons voir… (2000), Cantata of the New World (2006).

Janusz DABROWSKI Chief of chorus.

 

Born in 1944, he studied theory to the Music graduate school of Warsaw, then, completed them to the Music academy (Music regional education authority) of Poznan in the class of direction of Stefan Stuligrosz's choir. Since 1967, he is a leader of choir of the Choir Inter-Universitaire of Warsaw; he also manages the feminine choir " Harfa " of Warsaw. With both, he made numerous tours abroad and realized recordings for the radio and the television in France, Germany and Spain. Invited in San Francisco in 1977, he gave it conferences onto the Polish choral singing; he prolonged his educational activity until 1991 by training courses of direction to the Union of the Choirs of Italy of the North. In 1999, he received from the Cardinal Primacy Józef Glemp the medal " Ecclesiae populoque servitium praestanti ", in 2009 he was decorated by the President of Poland " The Cross doh Knight Polonia Restituta " for all his artistic work.

 

Andreas FOERSTER Chief of chorus.

Andreas Foerster was formed as a chief of chorus and an organist first of all in “Gregorieus Haus” of Aachen, then in Musikhochschule of Essen.

He improved in the direction, chorus and orchestra, while following the master-classes of Leonard Bernstein and Sergio Celibidache, organized within the framework of the music festival of the Schleswig-Holstein.

Currently he shares its time between the direction of Franco the German choral society of Cologne and the teaching of the music in a school of the Rhenish capital.

Lorraine GARIEPY Chief of chorus.

Prize winner of the universities of Sherbrook and Montreal QC (2 master's degrees in direction of chorus and accompaniment), Lorraine Gariépy exerts as a chief of chorus and an accompanying pianist with several whole of the Montreal area. She comes regularly to Europe at the time of rounds or international training courses: Choralies of Vaisons-the-Roman (2007), Eurochorus (2008 and 2009).
